Finally, in 2007, after the departure of curd Hydro-Quebec, during the dismantling of gas and oil sectors of the Crown corporation, the Charest government dissolved the Société québécoise d'initiatives oil (SOQUIP) and transfers all its rights to explore for Hydro-Quebec in Quebec to three companies:
1. Petrolia, whose headquarters is located in Rimouski is owned by Mr. Yousef Saeed a resident of Dubai of United Arab Emirates United. (According CIDREQ October 2010).
